Our pastors have faithfully served in ministry for well over 25 years.

Their entire lives and ministry have been marked by staying the course and many years of longevity in faithfulness.

• Their relationship and marriage are a testament to their unwavering commitment and keeping of the vows they make. Their relationship began at the young ages of 13 and 15 yrs old. They graduated from Tavares High School in 1991 & 92. They were later married in October on 1993.

• Sis Myers dedicated her life to Christ shortly before they were married in a log cabin church, while living in Kingsport Tenn.

• They would go on to move back to their home state of Florida, having two children.

• Pastor Myers eventually surrendered his life to Christ around August of 1997, in a church revival service at the Ferndale Church of God.

• It wasn't long before Pastor Myers accepted the call of God on his life to preach in 1998, while attending the Ocoee Church of God.

• The early years of their ministry was filled with a variety of ministry endeavors. Endeavors that would take Pastor Myers and his family into the streets, the jails, nursing homes, boys ranches, homeless camps, battered women and children shelter's, church revivals, youth camps, district meetings, funerals, weddings youth pastoring, associate pastoring, house churches, evangelism and eventually into pastoring.

• During this time, they had their third child, becoming more focused and stabile in their future direction for ministry.

• In 2006, Pastor Myers would go on to become a credentialed minister in the Church of God, while attending the Sorrento Church of God. Just a few weeks after he received his ministerial license, his family was voted in to pastor the Myakka City Church of God, where they would remain, just short of 2 years.

• In the early part of 2008, the Myers family would be voted in to pastor the Grace Street Church of God, in Apopka, Fl, where they would pastor for the next 18.5 yrs.

• Those who have known Pastor Myers, whether in church or through online ministry, have recognized his gift of preaching with a fervent anointing, sincere passion and unique ability to make plain, the most complex subjects.

• Pastor Myers has always been a diligent worker in ministry, using the many skills God blessed him with, to build, repair and maintain everything from air conditioning to church video and sound equipment and everything in between.

• During those many years of faithful ministry, pastor Myers held a full time job in the acoustical ceiling industry. In 2004, he started his own acoustical ceiling company. As of 2026, he has been in this field of construction for over 34 yrs and in business for 22 yrs.

• At the age of 52 yrs old, in August of 2026, his family started the Chosen Church ministry, where they currently pastor.

• Behind every great pastor, is often an amazing pastors wife. Such is the case with Sis Cristi Myers. She has been the knees in her husband's ministry efforts. She is a humble woman of God, whose relationship with God, is her top priority. You will be hard pressed to find many pastors wives, mothers or grandmothers, that are as sincere, loyal, loving and prayerful as she is daily.

• Both Pastor Myers and his Wife are down-to-earth folks, the kind of Christians that are the same in church as they are out of church.
