Chosen Church is new ministry with history

• After over 18 faithful years of pastoring the Grace Street Church of God in Apopka, Fl, our pastor and his wife decided it was time to resign and pursue the next chapter of their lives and ministry.

• During this transition, many of the faithful members of the former Grace Street church, kept in contact with Pastor Myers, expressing their desire for him to start a new ministry work and continue to pastor their families.

• Through prayer, Gods intricate design an His impeccable timing, a fresh ministry was birthed with both new and old members alike. As the pieces of this new church were coming together, we were graciously offered the opportunity to utilize the large dining space of a local downtown Apopka restaurant called "Just Like Momma's" on Sunday mornings.

• Before the first service was even held, God had given Pastor Myers the name Chosen Church, for this new work. We initially understood that as Christians, we are Chosen by God as the bible tells us in 1st Peter 2:9. What we didn't realize at the time, is how God CHOSE the Pastors, the congregation, the connections, the location, the season, and the leaders. All of which, embodied everything about the name God had CHOSEN.

• With a fresh outlook, a renewed appreciation, a re-defined approach, open hearts, open ears to God and open eyes for the harvest, as one united body, we step forward saying "here am I, Lord send me"

We are Chosen Church

• Chosen to worship God alone

• Chosen to serve God and others

• Chosen to lead while being led by God

• Chosen to love others as He has loved us

• Chosen to proclaim Gods word while practicing His word

• Chosen to use the gifts and talents we've been given, for His glory

• Chosen to plant and to water, while waiting on God to give the increase
